Founded as The Ealing Corporation in 1961, the company has provided optical and opto-mechanical products for Research, OEM and Industrial applications. The company originated near Harvard University and was based in Cambridge, Massachusetts for many years until moving to South Natick, Massachusetts. From the early days the company created a series of teaching catalogs that sought to educate and promote the products of the company.
From the 1969 catalog...
"Ealing provides fine teaching equipment for scientists in many fields. Here you will find apparatus designed for experiments from high school level through advanced graduate level laboratory work.
•For the Physicist
•For the Electrical Engineer
•For the Mechanical Engineer”
